Lack of service, refuse refund deposit

I employed AMS to maneuver us from Vancouver, California to Vegas, Nevada. It had been a sizable transfer, and in regards to a thousand miles journey. I had been cited $5,295, and delivered 50% deposit of $2,647. They guaranteed to get on December two or three, no later than 9AM. I stressed our schedule was slim, which there might be no setbacks. No body confirmed or named. After I eventually got through, was informed "the vehicle smashed down on the highway" which the transfer wouldn't occur that evening! We extended to call and contact, without any reaction to our communications. We waited for times without any further calls. We'd to employ another mover ultimately. The wait charge people countless bucks, but we require our deposit back! We're seniors on fixed-income. My spouse is just a center patient, which tension is significantly more than he is able to manage. I want help get our deposit returned. Can anybody tell me how to proceed?
