U Pull It
Rip off, bait and switch, blatant, scam, extorsion!

Om Jan 19 I located an engine at Upull it that was needed by a friend of mine. I went to the price board and checked the price, price was listed at $107. I then confirmed price with cashier and was told $107. Well after spending the afternoon Friday the 23rd working on removing the engine and returning on Saturday morning to complete the removal the following toook place. We took the engine up to the front where the parts pricer guy came and viewed the engine, said "oh well its missing this and that so its a $107 engine". He walks with my friend to the cashier and tells the cashier "it is a $107 engine". My friend pays him $147 total after core charge and tax. While this is going on I am sitting by the engine and the tools. The parts pricer guy and the "MGR" are looking at the engine we just pulled. The "MGR" starts going on about how this engine isnt a $107 engine! Before he starts this my friend had completed the transaction and had reciept to the engine in his hand, he walked out to get his truck so we could load it up. There is a tall locked gate and now they wont open it to allow him to back in to load the engine that he bought and paid for! We both remained calm during the "MGR" yelling at us and refusing to allow us to load the engine and leave to go back home close to 2 hours away! He called us liars repeatidly and that we we tring to run out with his engine?! We simply wanted to get home and to work! He now wants to charge over $200 more dollars for the engine that my friend owned! He will not let us out with the engine that he bought and had reciept for. My friend calls the police and is told they can come out but that there is nothing that theu will do "its a civil matter". Since when is extorsion a civil matter? The MGR no states " I can get $800 for it in less than an hour sitting it up front". I responded sure you could after we spent the time to pull it and get it out. After spending the time we did to get the engine he was not going to just leave it, so my friend gives him the additional money and magically the gate opens. We were both disgusted at this point, having driven 4 hours the day before and now driving another 4 hours on Saturday to be bullied and extorted for more money after already paying exactly what they asked for it!!! Any help here?
