Scam Artist Mechanic Took It To The Next Level

The owner Joe is a scam artist scum bag. He knew my fiancee through his wife, and said that my fiancee owed his wife some $ from 6 years ago. I had MY truck repaired there and he said I had to pay my fiancee's 6 year old debt in order to get my truck back. I had the cops show up and told them the story, then he changed the receipt to show that I didn't pay for the TOW of the vehicle, which was already paid. EVERYTHING was paid for $1300 worth of repairs. He told the cops I didn't pay for the tow and it would cost $150 (coincidentally the same amount of $ my fiancee supposedly owes him). If I had my keys the officer said I was free to take my vehicle but he had them both and was legally obligated to give them to me. I had to pay the $150 to get my truck back.
