You could have at least used vaseline

Doing a cross country move the moving company recommended as their carrier of choice Global Relogistics to transport our vehicles. We blindly went with the carrier. While setting up the move we told them we would not be in CA until the 7th of July. The carrier comes and while presenting the paperwork says ok the cars will arrive on the 5th. After back and forth we could not use that carrier. I called Global relogistics and explained the situation and was told to send an email requesting the return of my deposit. I have been sending emails periodically for 4 months. I was told on the 7th of Nov that I would not get my deposit.

I've already filed a claim against the van line and I think it's crazy to file a civil complaint for something under $500. This big business wants to fight over $490. All of this could have been said back in July when the first email was sent requesting my deposit. I can not just let this go.
