Cars & Transport

I purchased a 1984 Ferrari Mondial from Micheal with the licensed company myautoco.com. Car was sold as being in "perfect mechanical condition". Took a test drive and car seemed to be in good working order. Upon finalization of sale the car broke down less then a mile from where we filled out the sales paperwork.

Upon getting the car to a certified shop the mechanic informed me that the car was in such poor mechanical condition that it is a hazard to drive and would require several thousand dollars to repair. The shop owner has been nice enough to enlighten me on some other things that were not done the correct way.

Micheal with myautoco.com did not offer me a cool off period contract, which he is required to do. He appears to only have a wholesale dealer license and if that is the case he made an illegal sale to a private party. They lied and said the car was smogged but DMV does not show record of the car being smogged in over a year.

This company and the people representing it are the lowest of low. They are the used car salesmen you always hear about in horror stories. They will be facing legal action concerning this issue. Hopefully no one else will fall victim to their dishonest ways.
