I write to you today regarding a situation where I am literally stuck in the middle!!!

I recently purchased a car from the Bill Heard Chevrolet dealership in Union City Georgia. I later went to DMV to register the car, but was turned away because DMV said the car hasnâ?? T been registered in the system as of yet. I then went back to the dealership where they assured me everything will be taking care of. Not a problem and issued me another 30-day Temporary tag for the car. I later went back to the DMV to register the car and get tags again. I was told that there was nothing they could do because the car is not registered in the system and told me to go back to the dealership. I went back to the dealership again to find the doors of the business where closed and they went out of business due to Bankruptcy. I later learned of this news via media. It seems the company closed down all of the Bill Heard dealerships and laid off a lot of people.

I then, contacted the finance company who provided no help but insist monthly payments continue on the car. I am now stuck in the middle of having a car I can't drive because it isn't registered, and the finance company wants me to continue making payments on this car as well and no one is able to help, point me in the right direction or anything. I mean, who is the title holder of this car that I purchased???

If this is happening to me, I wonder how many other people are caught in the middle of this FIASCO!!!

Any suggestions or advice that you may have that may point me in should be the next step would be greatly appreciated!!!
