Rip-off inconsiderate not caring rude ignorant idiot working at Arco

I went to the Arco station in Long Beach on the corner of Martin Luther King Blvd and Aneheim to get some air for my tires. When I arrived there I put two quarters in the machine but heard a funny noise coming from the hose.
My roomate and I looked at the hose and saw that there was a large leak in it.

Went inside to ask the employee, who's name was Jesus, for a refund due to the broken hose. All he said was that I should have looked for a sign that stated that the machine was out of order.

So I went outside to check if there was a sign. I looked everywhere and did not see one.

I went back in and told Jesus that the sign must have been ripped off. He just said, "Oh well, I clearly put a sign up there, " and then ignored me.

I demanded to see the manager because I knew that I was not wrong and that I did not have to be ripped off because of the employee's carelessness to insure that signs and statements were posted up for the customers.

So I got the manager's name, Geronimo, and Jesus told me to come the next day. I told Jesus that I had no time to come the next day, and he simply said, "Oh well, come bak tomorow."

Though all I have lost is merely $. 50, the point is that why should I, or anyone else, have to pay for a company that is careless and does not even provide good gas, due to the employees' laziness to even check if simple things such as signs and displays are up to insure the customers that everything is in working and correct order?

I am furious with the employee, who would not even check to see if the sign was ripped off. He even said he was not in charge of the air machine, so I told him to call his manager.

Without hesitation he told me that he couldnt and that I needed to come in tomorow.

I hope this complaint does something about this Arco station. This is my first written complaint, but not my first time experiencing difficulties at the same Arco station.
