I purchased a 2004 Honda cr v in March. Until July of the year, anything was good. Subsequently, the A/D ceased getting out cold-air. Since I have was under prolonged Carmax guarantee, I visited Carmax-approved repair service. Although taking a look at preliminary issue, they found rear wheels were equally right down to last coating of stand and top ball-joint spindle was preparing togo. To begin with, thereis no means these three issues must have worn-out in 10 weeks, and thereis no means some of them must have been overlooked during Carmaxis examination procedure. That is where the fun started. Evidently, Carmax had, a couple of years before, changed from good components providers to cheapest-common denominator types, and also the only provider due to their Ford components was in North Park, CA (3,000 kilometers from me!). Our repair center named to-order the components—once they ultimately arrived in, the ball-joint spindle arrived without bearings inside it (that will be silly, because it FAILS without them). The bearings subsequently must be requested, and also the provider informed my fix individuals to move mess themselves (in significantly worse vocabulary, that we wont replicate below), and they did not require something from their store, and understood that which was required. Then they delivered the bearings towards the incorrect handle, so when the fix people ultimately got them, these were the incorrect size and kind. They re ordered AGAIN, also it was not till 4 1/2 months later that I eventually got my vehicle totally mounted and in my fingers. All in this procedure, I named Carmax numerous occasions and was informed anything was coated entirely (including rental), and never to be worried about it. Subsequently, my fix people might contact THE EXACT SAME MORNING and obtain the entire other tale. It ultimately got twelve-and-a-half calls between me and the repair center to obtain right solutions, ultimately concluding in a hot phone that I produced from the fix location (using the supervisor sitting alongside me) to provide these folks a bit of my brain and get things resolved.By Sept. 8th (after beginning Aug. 6th), I thought I had been done, and exactly what must be protected was done. Nevertheless, I simply got a phone in the fix location today (March. 3) informing me they show-me as having a superb stability of $125 for leases that I had been informed by Carmax was compensated entirely on Sept. 8. Carmax was previously an excellent service with excellent usedcars (my father boght 2 cars from their store, and not had issues), but since they changed providers and reduce team, they've become the largest trouble, which no client must have to withstand.
