Mr. Cho condones defaming Italian-Americans by his employee, won't offer apology to Italian-Americans

This letter explains the situation:

Dear Mr. Cho:

I am writing to you out of frustration since a series of phone calls and e-mails to the Toyota site did not result in my satisfaction or I was totally ignored.

On September 12, I visited the Haltermans Toyota Dealership in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to purchase a Highlander.

When I left the showroom on the way to my trade-in vehicle to get the title, a Toyota Executive was speaking with two Halterman managers. The executive was in a conversation in which he was degrading Italian-Americans. I could not believe the adjectives he was using while denigrating my nationality.

I confronted the executive and asked him why he detested Italians and he replied that he likes Italians. When I reminded him of the conversation I overheard, he said that he was telling a joke. Upon further challenging his behavior, he said that what I heard wasnt a joke but he was telling the Halerman employees about his co-worker. I said that was even worse!

I left the dealership in disgust but I returned the next day and purchased a Highlander.

Each inquiry to Toyota about your employee denigrating Italians sent me to Halterman's to have the issue resolved. This episode had nothing to do with Halterman employees, but was specific to your executive's improper conduct.

Has this incident been investigated? Has anything been done to address this employees actions? Will I receive an apology from Toyota directly?

My next vehicle in May was to be an Avalon, but I can not continue to support a corporation that condones denigrating any nationality. Your Diversity Group which I also contacted, did not reply to my letter.

I am awaiting your response.
