We purchased a 1998 Chrysler Sebring Top of the line used 54 k miles. The tranmission failed at 60 k miles. Complete rebuild required. Chrysler has an inherant problem with their QUALITY. My neighbor replaced 2 tranmissions in his 95 LHS and they wouldnt stand behind their Quality.
I was directly involved in manufacturing as a supplier to Chrysler and They were pure Hell with us on Quality issues but they dont feel the same with in house problems. I always bought G.M. Cars but have bought 4 chrysler products for myself and family and have had major problems with all product lines. I think we will go to Toyota or Honda for our next purchases they care about their customers and manufacture products to "0" defects.
