Campways bad installation for Camper Shells

I have a great condition Z-71 Sport side 4x4 GMC black in color. I decided to get a camper shell for it from Campways 1324 Oakland Rd San Jose, CA 95112. I paid them $300.00 down and they ordered it in black from Leer manufacture. The shell arrived. I went to Campways to have it installed and what a nightmare. The tech has never installed one before and asked for my help to install it. He tried everything including drilling the shell out and grinding the brackets to make it work. After 7 hours he gave up. He also cut into the truck wires which concerned me.

The next day I went to another camper shell company and asked for their suggestions. I was given new mounting hardware and suggestions. I went back to Campways to share my discovery. They had a second tech there on the second day. He said the other tech knew nothing and had no experience. The second tech drilled a hole in the bed and made his own style of mounting the shell other than manufactures suggestions. I needed the truck that night and when he was done I paid for the installation and shell. I went back to them because of the year of the truck and that it is a sport side and Installation Company would take 2 to 3 weeks to get one and I needed it right away.

On my trip I noted the break lights stay on after releasing the foot and the Cruz-control no longer works. There are various scratches on the pick up and shell. I have never seen such inexperienced personnel in my life. 16 hours to install a shell incorrectly and no discount for the inconvenience.
