I purchased a car that I found on craigs list from #1 CarSales. I noticed an issue with the transmission and told the head mechanic. He tells me that it was just low on fuel. I buy it and then 2 days later it returns. Come to find out it has a bad ECM. There is a way to mask the issue by calibrating it, but it comes back and can destroy the whole transmission. I received a 6 month 50/50 warranty and the owner declined to pay his half saying it wasn't part of the transmission. I couldn't even get it tagged because it can't pass inspection. They treat their customers with complete disrespect and the owner says "business is business". Please post this so others are not burned by this weak, fly by night car dealership. It will cost me another $1200 to get it fixed by someone who actually knows what they are doing.
