Unethical Business Practices Misrepresentation of Services Performed california

They told me and put in writing that two bolts on my rear caliper needed to be re-thread. I took my car to another mechanic and saw that the bolts were not re-thread and were not even new. I went back to get my money returned stating what happened in a calm and peacefull manner and was told that 'if I wanted to get the bolts put in without paying, ' an excessive $90, 'I should do it myself.' True, but I shouldn't be lied to and pay for work that was not performed. All in all, it cost me $270 to get two brake pads replaced and two used bolts bolted in - a 30 minute job. Poor customer service and horrible ethical practices. Fare Warning: Avoid Brake Masters.
