Tim Fuller
Pieced together a car with practically duct tape then sold it to me saying it was inspected and in great condition

Cars & Transport

I was in contact with Tom Fuller Jr through a friend of mine, who repairs cars and sells them. We talked for a few weeks before I decided to purchase the car. He showed me a 1995 Subaru SVX AWD of which I decided would be a pretty decent car. The asking price was $2800, and according to Kelley Blue Book the car was worth $2800 if in good condition. Tim told me the car was in excellent condition and had good tires on it. He also said if things were to break on the car he would fix them.

After a few weeks of owning the car I noticed oil leaking all over my garage. I called Tim and he said thats normal with old cars and he would fix it. It has been 5 and a half months and still not fixed.
Also i noticed the tires on the car were sliding easily. I took them to a dealer and they said the tires were completely bald and about the wear completely off. I had to get 4 brand new tires (costing about $630) on the car.

Then one day as I was driving to work I noticed the car making a horrible noise. When i got to work my front tire popped and the car was completely immobile. I called Tim and he said it was the axle. I had my car towed to his house for a repair. He fixed the axle and charged me $100 to do so. He said the dealership probably broke the axle when putting on the new tires.

Then about a month later the muffler starts making a really loud noise. We look under the car and notice the exhaust is cracked in two places and about to fall off. We asked a mechanic about it and he said the whole bottom was rusted out and needed replaced. He also told us that all the wrong parts were put under that car, that it looks like someone did a quick fix.
I called Tim and he said there's no way its wrong and that all it needs is welded. At this point I told him I shouldn't have to do anymore repairs to this car after owning it for 5 months. He said its no big deal and can get it welded for like $30.

At this point I told him that he took advantage of me when selling me the car and that he lied about everything when selling it. I asked him to just buy the car back and avoid any legal issues. He never responded and now wants nothing to do with the car.
I feel as though he ripped me off just to make a sale and i feel he is doing this to others. He has about 30 cars in his yard that he is piecing together and selling to people just to make a profit.
