Sold us a 1989 Ford Mustang and WILL NOT give us a clear title. Consumer fraud ripoff

Preston Wadkins has an Alltel Store in Ward, Arkansas. He is also trying to start a car lot in the same location. Seven months ago he sold us a 1989 Ford Mustang. The title he gave us had his name written on it but the title wasn't in his name.

We have tried for seven months now to get a clear title from him. All he has to do is get a TPOC for $32 from the DMV. We even offered to pay the $32!

He "threw" me out of his Alltel Store on October 19th for telling him 6 months is long enough and I want my title or money TODAY. He also played "chest bumping" with my husband the same day.

We took this to the police, finally. We have gotten the run around by them since October 19th. November 13th my husband ran into him at a store. They had words again. Preston admitted he WILL NOT give us a title or our money back and that we can "eat" the car.

My mission now is to shut down his Alltel Store and keep him from getting his used car dealers license. We are in the process of sueing him in small claims court and we have criminal charges filed against him. I detered one of his customers yesterday as he was telling her about a truck he had for sale. One customer down, many more to go.

If Alltel has any company integrity, they will not allow Preston Wadkins to use their name to draw customers into his car dealership.
