Another Pepboys ripoff

The front brake rotors on the older Honda Accords hand to be turned down while on the car because they were mounted behind the bearings. Pepboys always did a good job while my wife worked in a medical office across the street. They turned them down once or twice before and the brakes started chattering again a few years later. I knew the front rotors could not be turned down anymore and new ones had to be installed. I checked the brakes, and I need new ones front and back. So I made an appointment for the next day to have new rotors and brake pads installed on the front, and I put new rear brake pads on that evening. The rear rotors were fine.

My wife came home and said Pepboys called her at work about the rear brakes. She didn't understand what they were telling her so she told them to do what was necessary. Well, you guessed it. They tore off my pads that had 19 miles on them, installed new pads and rotors on the rear. When I called Pepboys, they told me my wife had given them the OK. I emailed a complaint to their main office and and the chicken sh-t p-ssys never had the guts to respond. That ripoff caused them to loose thousands of dollars of my business and thousands of dollars of my friends and family business over the years. Why would you want to cut your own throat over a few hundred dollars? I located a local garage owned by 2 great mechanics and have refered my friends, relatives and neighbors.
