Well me and my husband buy and 1999 Ford Expedtion. Well the storm of the freakin century hits WV. And my husband is driving and the airbags didn't deploy. He skids, the abs work cause the back tires locked up. He slides and hits a guard rail. And then an ambulance comes and smashes the front end of our truck. The Airbags do not go off!? The whole front end of the vechicle was smashed in! How could the airbags not go off?

When we bought the truck we thought there was no way to disable the airbags. We actually like the airbags in the expedtion in case it accidentaly flips when we are in an accident or we get into a serious wreck like the one we have with an ambulance. There was nothing inside the truck that said disable or enable the airbags. And if it did we would have it enabled. I dont understand how the airbags did not go off. And im preety upset. Any of you that drive expedtions. Watch out. And dont get into a wreck because you airbags might not go off the time that you need it most!

Another thing, it is a 99 expedtions. Its only almost 10 years old, so the airbags should work. My step dad had a ford ranger a 1995 and he got into his accident in 2005 after skidding and hitting a tree... His airbags went off. OUrs doesn't!? Someone from ford get back to me. Or someone that has an expedtion and let me know how this works. Because if there is something im missing. Or im right about the airbags. Then im getting a lawsuit cause my husband could have died if he didn't have his seatbelt on. And i thought that airbags were for added protection!
