Last payment of $504.00 and balance still $7,000.00!

Oh my gosh, I thought I was making progress on this account by paying more than the monthly payment each month and the balance never went down. Last payment od $504.00 and balance still $7,000.00 to be paid within 30 days or would be charged off and auto repossessed. Tried to negotiate a settlement offer to pay off and they would not budge. Said "we don't do settlements". Threatened to repo the car which we eventually paid over $30,000.00 for (sale price $19,000.00) and they still demanded the $7,000.00 or would repo and charge off account. The car is only worth at most $2000.00 now.
When we phoned to obtain explanation of how this has happened, were told we signed simple interest loan at dealership and if we didn't read it and/or the dealer didn't explain it to us, that's too bad.

They call non stop from sun up to sun down, are rude and down right scum!!! Don't EVER get involved with this company! Do your homework before signing any contract.
