Poor quality work job did not fix the problem business that doesn't give a dam

We have a 1991 Toyota 4Runner. The brakes were making a grinding noise whenever we stepped on the brake pedal. We had seen an ad on television which stated that Midas would guarantee their brake job and that their work was performed by experts, so we took our truck to the S.W. Military Dr. Location.

We were told that we did not need any front brakes, but the drums did need resurfacing, and for the brakes to be adjusted. Approximately 90 minutes later, the mechanic who was working on our truck came out and said that we did need front brakes after all. Then he says that we also need a master cylinder because it was making a noise, so we said for him to go ahead and do it if the truck really needed it.

We were then told that the job would only take 2 1/2 hours. We waited for our vehicle from 12:00 noon until 6:30 P.M., and paid $498.39 for the job. Upon leaving Midas, approx. 1/2 mile away, the brakes locked and we nearly had a wreck. After taking our truck back there for a second time, we are still having problems with our brakes and want our money back for this poor job and cannot get anyone to accept responsibility for it. We have called the main office and they have hung up on us several times.
