They said I needed a 2,100 transmission I didn't need now they say it's the fan clutch

Rippoff report for AAMCO at 1300 miner in Desplaines IL.
I brought my car in there for what appeared to be a constant High RPM problem on the Engine while driving.
The AAMCO dealer in DesPlaines had my Car for 6 days and said they have to replace the transmission and that would take care of the problem.

The transmission at the amount of $2088.81 did not fix the problem and the exact problem which I brought it in for still exist! Not only did they replace and charge me for a new transmission but they wouldn't accept the coupon for $100 off complete transmission rebuild that I got off the AAMCO web site.

To add insult to Injury they are now telling it is the fan clutch that is the problem and want to charge me an additional $500.00 more that reapir and are now willing to accept the $100 off trans rebuild coupon.

Its plain and simple, this AAMCO 1300 Miner st. Desplaines IL does not know how to diagnose a transmission problem from a fan clutch problem. They did not fix the orginal problem but instead they force fed me a new transmission rebuild which I didn't need. IT is now day 11 and I still do not have my vehicle back but they have my money for the new transmission they said I needed.
I would like a refund of $2088.81 and I want my car fixed right!

I was on the WEB looking at other complaints logged against this outfit. I expect them to take care of this issue promptly. I'm tired of fighting with AAMCO sales reps and the Service people at this dealer. They keep referring to eachother and have me running in circles trying to cover up thier mistakes. They misdiagnosed the problem, they should fix it.
