Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan Plus - Money-Back Guarantee
Have done everything correct to get refund. Company informs me they did not expect plan would be so successful. Did not know when I would get my refund

I purchased a 2001 Harley Davidson FatBoy in September. I also purchased the Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan Plus, which guarantees you receive your money back if you follow all of the terms and conditions of the Money-Back Guarantee. I did everything correct. I registered and received my Official Refund Claim Certificate.

During the next seven (7) years, I maintained my motorcycle according to the terms and conditions of the Money-Back Guarantee, saved all of my receipts for all service work and never made a claim (did not have to) against the service plan.

In September of I sent in my Certificate, once again, according to the terms and conditions. I then received a letter dated November 15 (about 6 weeks after sending in the original Certificate) that in order to "complete the eligibility requirements and receive my refund, " I had to send in all of my maintenance receipts.

On November 21 I sent a letter, enclosing all of my receipts, showing that I complied with all of the required terms and conditions. On January 2 I called to make sure everything was received and in order. I was told that my refund would go out in two weeks.

As of today, January 23, I still have not received my refund. I called again and spoke to Dori. She told me that everything was approved and that my refund MAY go out the first couple of weeks in February. I told her what I was told on January 2. She informed me that there was an overwhelming response to the plan and they had not expected that so many people would be requesting their money back. (I asked her if that meant they they assumed everyone's Harley would break down). I also reminded her that my service plan had expired in September and I had been waiting almost 5 months. She actually told me that everybody else was waiting that long too.

I told Dori I would check back on February 15 if I had not yet received my refund. She said she was not guaranteeing that I would have my refund by then. I told her I was going to have my attorney write them. She said "fine."

I then called back to request the physical address of the company (as they only provide you with a P.O. Box). She inquired why I needed it and I told her I was reporting them to a consumer fraud company.

This is a lot of work for something I did correctly to begin with.in addition, they are very vague about when (and I am thinking if) I will get my refund.
