Is A Rip OFF, is a scam

I brought my vehicle to this place to get it inspected and to do minor work to the car. He would not give me a set price. I didnt hear from the place for 2 weeks. Finally I decided I better call and see if any progress has been made. They had forgotten about me. As I drive by the place I can see my vehicle sitting front and center of there shop. How can you forget about something that you look at everyday.

Anyway I finally got a call from a guy telling me that I owed him $450 because he had to do extra work. And that my vehicle was not inspectable and would need another $1200 in repairs to pass inspection. And if I didnt want to do that than I could just come take it as is with no inspection sticker. So I told him well in that case KEEP THE TRUCK!
