Continental Warranty
This company repeatedly called me after denying the offer and calling them out on their scandal

I requested information regarding an after market warranty on the internet, and then the phone calls began. This company called me twice the same day, two different people, asking if I wanted to partake in the warranty. I took their name and number down and stated that it was a bad time to talk and that I would return the phone call. I never returned the call that night because I was too busy. The next morning, they call again. Yet another different individual. Then when I finally had time, I returned their call, but only to leave a message for them. Once I got to talking to one of the individuals, they said that I would have to place a 100% refundable deposit down to lock down this rate or else I will be denied coverage if I call back. Well, this whole thing sounded like a scandal from the get-go when they would keep hounding me on the phone. So I asked them what everything entails, and how long it would take to get the refund and such. Then they said that they would have to record the credit card info and verbal agreement to the policy over the phone. I immediately said no way and that this is all a scandal. She replied that it was an absurd statement, and so forth. So I said, Good bye. She called back 3 times!!! I finally answered to say do not call me any more, and that she was wasting my time. Man, beware of companies that try to hound you down on the phone. It should raise up the flag immediately. When I got home today after the phone call, I discovered this site, and everything I believed to be true. Don't ever let anyone record your information on the phone... Ever.
