Think twice about working for this penny-pinching company

This is a company that is cheap cheap. It is privately held and the owners watch very closely how money is spent. If somehting is wrong with your truck, no way will they let you go to a TA or Petro. You have to wait to go to a main terminal no matter how much of an inconvenience it is to you.

In orientation, they treat you like a king but when you start driving your dispatcher treats you like crap. Try to get another dispatcher, no way even thoiugh the operations director said no problem in swithing during orientation.

When I went to pick up my truck, it was so dirty it was unbelieveable. The mattress has stains on it but I asked for a new one no way on getting a new one. Get the truck cleaned, no way. I had to pay for it.
And forget about driving the truck to your home. They will let you drive it to the nearest terminal or drop yard and then you drive your personal car to your home.
Also, you have to like to drive at night. I was supposed to get a load at 3 AM and deliver it at about 11 AM that same morning. If I was late, I was going to be written up. Forget about pulling over and getting some sleep - I did not have any time considereing how far I had to drive. I was told by a regional safety director that if I was tired I must pull over and get some sleep. I had that right to do it. Yet my dispatcher said different. I was taken off the load.
This is a terrible company to work for and they could care less about the driver. Oh - they make you wear a uniform and that is additional dollars out of your pocket. It just gives them more money.
Like I said -THINK TWICE.
