Midwest Auto
Rip-Off Scam Artists!

Cars & Transport

I own a salvage yard in Northern MN and was a victim of theft of merchandise by this company.

Al (Midwest salesman) ordered an engine for a very expensive late model auto in Mid- September and paid via credit card. Al requested a refund for the engine stating the engine was bad.

He was told that when the engine was returned to our store he would then be issued a refund. We paid for the return freight. He made multiple harrassing calls to our sales team and finally bullied one of our less experienced staff into issuing his refund via credit card before the engine actally arrived back at our door by telling him lies.

When that engine arrived (one day later) it was not only a different engine then the one he recieved but the engine appears to be a stripped down core with the VIN plate removed and other forms of illegal tampering.

I will be pursing this throughly with the local police department (Cudahy, WI), the DMV, the Better Business Bureau and his credit card company and anyone else who may be interested in the practices of Midwest Auto.

Another victim in another town!
