Embezzlers! Please be cautious! Ripoff

My experience with Harrelson Ford was nice @ first and turned very very ugly. Me and my father went to purchase a vehicle from Harrelson Ford and were told that I needed $500 down on the car. No problem, I was going to write a check, but the salesman Victor Moore stated he needed cash.

I then went to get the $500 from the ATM and brought the cash back.instead of giving $500, I gave $480. Victor in return told me they where out of receipt paper and gave me a card from Harrelson Ford and on the back wrote "down payment for ford focus $480" and he signed the card.

The beginning of an never ending battle.

He then told my father that the paperwork would be ready tomorrow and we left in the car w / the dealer tag. 2 days later paperwork still not ready, so I told him I didn't want the focus I wanted the 2005 Taurus (new at the time). He switched cars for me and once again said come back tomorrow and the paperwork will be ready. So we come back the next day and the paperwork is ready, but no Victor. Someone else finishes up the deal and come to find-out not only is my name not on the car, but we didn't need a down payment.

We asked, "Wheres the money" no answer. We showed the card and they stated there was nothing they could do b/c it wasn't on the receipt paper. I asked well this is your card and you knew the rep. HECK he was just there yesterday.

They ten told me that he now worked at Keith Hawthorne Ford in Gastonia and I would have to track him down to get my money back. So I tried and couldn't get my money back.

I returned to them and they stated I would need to talk w / the finance manager, so I did and he ignored me to the 10th power so I threatened to call ACTION 9 and he in return stated he would give me the number. He had it on hand. HOW FREAKING RUDE.

Harrelson's son then came out and talked to me about the situation. He then put me with ANOTHER sales rep. And he showed me an older Taurus that wasn't all that nice and stated that "THEY WILL PUT IN THE VECHILE WITH $800 DOWN AND TAKE OFF THE $480 AND THEY WILL PAY THE REMAINDER OF THE DOWN PAYMENT".

At that point I didn't want the car they were trying to put me in and I declined the offer. I told them all I want is my money back. They then stated they couldn't give me the money back.

I WAS LIKE WHY NOT. Remember they just where going to give the money towards my down payment on a not so nice car (almost 100,000 miles may I add). I have been looking for resolution since 2005. I still have the card Victor Moore signed.

I told Harrelson Ford through this whole ordeal that he embezzled money form the company and I shouldn't have to hunt him down they should have him arrested for embezzlement and fraud. I also talked with Keith Hawthorne and someone stated he did the same thing there.

I spoke with the CHARLOTTE MECKLENBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT and they stated I couldn't file a police report for a warrant against Victor Moore, Harrelson Ford would have to do that for embezzlement (I also told Harrelson Ford this) because he took from them not me (this is why they need to refund me the money). I have even spoken w / the FBI to receive the same answer as the CMPD. I spoke w / Harrelson Ford's attorneys only to be blown-off and told if I take the matter to court I will not win.

To summarize. Be very careful. If you do purchase a car there. It is 2007 and I still don't have my money back, but they send me flyers to purchase a new car.
