Diagnostic testing is a rip off!

Our engine light was on in my own 2002 VW Jetta. I got it towards the car store I often employ and he could not find something incorrect after managing a diagnostic ensure that you apologized that I'd need to go to my seller (West Broad Volkswagen). He did not cost me something. The seller stated I'd need to spend $82 upfront for that testing that we decided to; then I obtained a call-back stating they mightnot find something incorrect and will have to cost another approximately $100 for more analytical screening. I inquired what happens should you still do not find something. I had been told they'd. Again, I recd another phone to cost for extra screening at again approximately another $100. At this time, it was $200 but still they'dnot found the issue. I told them no further and also to get my vehicle, I'd to pay for the statement. I've since requested the organization to exhibit me evidence they did the extra screening plus they have not. The support supervisor stated I had been creating my vehicle more issues by operating it since anything was incorrect??? I've since set 2500 kilometers on without any issue. Personally I think it's incorrect to become billed for something which I actually donot actually understand if it just happened. This analytical screening is just a "rip-off".
