Lead on in lies and over charging. Don't ever make a verbal contract on the phone. Ripoff

I took a ford festiva in to have the transmission looked at. They told me the problem with in an hour. They said that if they pull it out to see the sure problem it would cost $400. I told them okay. The next day He called and said what needed to be done and that it would cost $1615 plus tax. This was to rebuild the transmission.

Not knowing what I was getting into, I said okay. I made a phone contract, which I strongly advise no one to do. So I gave them a week, and I got no phone call. The first time I called he said they just got the parts and are putting them in. The car would probably be done tomorrow.

To make a long story short. They have had the car for almost a month. Everytime I call I hear either "tomorrow". Or we are working on it right now. Also I've heard, " it should be done in a couple of hours.
