Faulty Repairs and improper collection practices

On Feb 24th, March 15th, and April 8th, San Bruno Auto Center performed repair work on my car. I paid the charges of $1376 in full with my credit card. The work was not done properly and had to be repaired by another mechanic.

I requested a refund from San Bruno Auto Center but was refused and disputed $800 of the charges with my credit card company. My credit card company performed a chargeback and I was credited $800. I received no notice after the chargeback that San Bruno Auto Center was requesting payment.

In February, a collections account was posted to my credit report on behalf of San Bruno Auto Center. This collections account is fraudulent and has caused me to be denied credit. San Bruno Auto Center never notified me before submitting my information to the collections agency or the credit reporting services.
