Alford GMC
Ripoff! Liers!

On 07/29/05 my husband & i bought a gmc envoy from this so called dealership. We purchased credit life coverage on the vehicle as we do on all large purchases. We were charged 1059.84 for credit life insurance.

All fine & dandy until i recieved a letter from american heritage life insurance company that coverage was denied due to my husband buying another vehicle in may 05 and bought credit life on it which they said exceeded their limit on him. They returned the premium to alford and sent me a letter stating so and for me to contact alford for credit.

Well i did and they said it would be taken care of, so i forgot about it. Well i thought about it again in febuary 2007. I called the salesman that sold me the vehicle and asked if credit had been issued or a check mailed to me. He stated that he talked to the manager and he said, he could not issue me a check personally but he coule mail one to my leinholder. I stated that was ok.

A check was mailed to my leinholder on 03/12/07 and all was well until 04/16/07 i recieved a letter from my leinholder that the check from alford's gmc had been returned due to stop payment. They owe me 1059.84 for insurance premium & i guess i will take them to court. I guess i can also report them to the department of insurance too. But i will indeed see them in court.
