My story begins with a car I purchased practically online. I knew excactly what model and color I wanted. I put a down payment of 100$ over the phone with my credit card and went to Brewster Honda at the end of the week to pick up my car.

When I met the salesmen I spoke to, I told him I'm no longer interested in the model I asked for because my wife was not happy about driving a manual transmission. What I wanted to do was purchase the more expensive automatic. So I opologized and figured he will be making more money anyway so what's the problem? Well his manager got involved and was really playing hardball with me. He tried to make it seem as if I caused them a really big problem.

He told me it would cost over a $1000 more for the automatic. My research on the internet showed that the dealer cost for automatic was $600 hundred dollars. Apparently this offended him and he threw the papers at me and told me if I dont want to pay that price I can get the hell out of there and say goodbye to my deposit. So I did! And went to Pace Honda in New Rochelle where I was treated professionally and saved a couple of hundred bucks. So I made out in the end and brewster Honda lost out on a sale.
