Merchant performed services which were not authorized. All the services performed were INCORRECTLY OR POORLY PERFORMED. None of them actually fixed anything that was requested. Merchant incorrectly diagnosed the transmission and electrical problems. These were subsequently fixed correctly elsewhere. Further problems in the vehicle occurred right after the vehicle was picked up. Immediately after picking up the car, it would not turn off.

The merchant never provided the requested written estimate (which was requested many times) and was very hard to reach during repair causing anxiety and inconvenience to the customer. Merchant kept the car for 4 days while performing services that could have been performed in one or 2 hours.

The merchant was provided with a list of QUESTIONS not AUTHORIZATIONS to perform work. Many requests were made for a written estimate. These were constantly avoided. Merchant was threatening, verbally abusive in the presence of a 2 year old daughter. He claimed that he will not give the car back unless the bill was paid and signed.

Oil change. The merchant overfilled the engine oil compartment causing a dangerous condition for the engine.

Merchant claimed that if all fuses were replaced, fuse box cleaned and replaced all related problematic electrical systems would be functional. The problems were later found to be related to switches etc.
The merchant performed an accelerator bushing replacement and steam wash of engine. This was never asked for nor authorized. Merchant originally claimed that an upshift cable needs to be replaced so that transmission would shift smoothly. Merchant has not improved function of the transmission in any way. Subsequently the problem was found to be a lack of vacuum system connection to the transmission.
