Ripoff They had me make payments then repoed anyway

I was surprised to see so many similar situations to mine. I struggled, got payday loans and didn't pay my other bills to catch up my payments. Why did I get behind? The extended warranty I bought didn't cover the repairs I consistently and unexpectly had to make. I was two months behind coming up to a third and I called them. They said they couldn't help me until after the third payment was due. I waited the two days as I was told, then called back. They told me to make the two payments and they would put the third at the end of my contract. Feeling relieved and knowing I had the month to get my other bills back on track. I quickly paid the money I scrounged up. 3 days later, I got a phone call that I was overdue. From then on it was chaos. Over and over again I explained that I had faxed "explanation" papers and repair receipts to them as requested and they had deferred my payment. They explained to me no such arrangements were valid and I had to pay NOW! They then told me my record was poor and they were going to repossess because they had the right at any time they pleased. They actually came to a jobsite and got the vehicle at 2am. Triad lost a payment by money order a year before this incident I refused to send it again.

Of course with my luck, I didn't have the yellow copy because I had just moved. But I was ALWAYS CONSISTENT and never missed that 493.64 payment. Every month I was "one month late" and neither of us budged. There was no love loss between myself and Triad. My $22,000 truck was only worth $13,000. Also, they were charging me 21% interest. BEWARE! They are not like other companies with the one time deferment. THEY LIE! I have financed several cars before my divorce. They offered deferments, though I never used one. I never thought a company helping people get back on their feet would do something like that. But they expected a double profit? Resell the vehicle and charge me for it, also? That is the only motivation I can think of???
