That Ford POS they ripped me off with

My husband and I bought a 2000 Ford Explorer from the Drivetime in Fort Worth TX, unfortunitly that was the only place that would finance us because that was our first car. This car was extermly dirty on the inside, parts were missing and broken off, and when we got it home to clean it we found old food under the back seats! And this was one of the better cars up there.

It started making belt noise right after we got it and that was not covered in there BS warranty so we had to get the belt changed out of our own pocket. Then we noticed a rattling noise under the car and we took it back and they could not find anything wrong with it, and the guy kicked the tail pipe which made it worse.

We moved to St. Louis right after we got it and about 3 months later we had to get new tires on it because they had knots all over them and they had dry rot really bad, and we had to get a new battery because the car would not start half the time. Then when I went to get the thing inspected up here they told me the ball joints were so bad I needed to get them replaced which costed well over a 1000 bucks.

Every month since we got this car we have had to do some kind of major repair-transmintion leak, fuel filter, mass air flow sensor, abs sensor, intake gasket, ball joints, horn (which went out agian), tires, battery, egr valve, and a bunch of other stuff.

Oh I almost forgot, the tail gate wont open half the time, and the drivers side door has to be opened from inside! Now the car wont start half the time and I have had hundreds of dollars of diagnosics run on it and no one can find out whats wrong with it! And they charged us almost 26% interest on this car and with all the fees the total price for this car was almost 23 thousand dollars-this car was not even worth that new. This car was probably worth about 7 thou when we got it! We still owe over 11 thou on it.

There have been 2 other people in my family that got ripped off by these people and they had even more problems with there cars than we did with this one. One of there cars almost caught on fire from the wiring! We all need to file lawsuits against these drivetime people, who are now going by DT Credit Corp. They don't just rip off people with bad credit they rip off first time car buyer that have no credit.
