Beaudry RV
Ripoff misrepresented a 35 ft. Trailer That my daughter purchased in

Cars & Transport

My daughter lives in the mountain area of New Mexico. She went to Beaudry RV in Tucson, AZ to buy a 4 season trailer to be used as her year round residence. They sold her a 2006 Mountaineer and delivered it to New Mexico. There were broken things from day 1. She had no luck with getting anyone out to do any repair work. She had someone from Nevada come out to check things out. He saw the trailer and told her it was not a 4 season trailer and that she was going to have problems.

This was the week that she was heading to Colorado for a term of college. She was planning to take the trailer, but it was colder in Colorado than New Mexico. She called Beaudry's and told them what she found out. They felt that they could put on after market heaters etc. To help with the problem. She winterized the trailer. She left for school and continued to contact them, but they never made the upgrades. When she returned from college she was gone much of the spring and fall as she is a wildland fire fighter for the forest service. When she got back home in September, she found out that the trailer slid-out both leaked, and destroyed a lot of her personal belongings. Mold had grown in several places and things had rusted including an electrical outlet. There was a bit more rain which caused water to run down walls and into the cabinets. It pooled in cabinets and in the rug. She has photos of all of this. She has had the trailer returned. Beaudry says the only problem is a missing gasket and they can find no leaks. They have given her an option of getting another trialer. But... They have not offered her anything that will allow her to live in her trailer. They are not 4 season trilers.in the meantime she has had to make payments on the current trailer as well as rent a place to live. She has asked for a return of her money, but they won't respond to that offer. She is sensitive to molds, she doesn't trust that they can't find a problem and even if they do, she can't live in it in cold temperatures. She has gotten no where in the past year, and it is time for her to head back to school, without a trailer again.

I have seen reports of people having trouble with Beaudry's, especially Scott in Surprise. Do have any suggestions (Lawyer reconnendations) etc. That might help my daughter? She's a student and doesn't have a lot of money for legal fees.
