Ripoff, doesn't return phone calls, never acknowledged paperwork I sent

I signed up for a warranty which was completely misrepresented to me. I was told by 1sourceautowarranty.com that that my salvage titled vehicle would be fully covered under their warranty beginning the day that the warranty went into effect.

A couple months (and payments) later, I find out that the underwriters of the warranty changed the policy regarding salvage titled vehicles to cover them only after the original manufacturer's warranty would have ended had the vehicle have had a clear title. This ment that my relatively new Nissan having only 1,200 miles would not be eligible for coverage by 1source until it had accumulated 36,000 miles.

As a result, I called to cancel my contract. I was told that I was entitled to a full refund and that they would mail me a form to complete and return to them. I received the form, completed it and returned it to 1source within 7 days of the phone call.

A few weeks later I called to check on the status and was told that they never received my form. I asked them to mail a second copy to me. I never received the second copy. When I called to inquire about the second copy, I got a busy tone. I tried calling repeatedly for about a month.

Having had no luck in contacting 1source, I decided to look online for a solution. That is when I ran into numerous postings about how 1source is a scam and how they've rejected many claims which customers were entitled to.

In short, I've had a terrible experience with this company and I never even had to make a claim. They just took my money and ran. I hope someone out there finds a way to bring 1sourceautowarranty to justice.
