Enterprise Car Rental ripoff prepaid and charged debit card

We had booked and prepaid a car rental Through Expedia.com
On arrival at Amarillo we picked up the car and was toled that they meeded a credit card for ID that the card would not be charged.
We turned the car in on time and borded plane back home.
Over a mouth later I got a over drow noice from the bank and found that Enprise had charged my card $200.00 For what? I have made several phone calls and all I get is a run-a-round
