Ripoff

I have had a loan with dt credti corp. Since 2003 i purchased a 1999 mazada 626 and the price after tax and is over 18,000$ that alone should be enoug right there, as the vehicle is grossly overpriced. Moving on i have paid the loan as agreed, i just recently had a baby so to make provisions for that i made a lump sum payment of 2500.00$. Dt credit corp accepted the payment.

Now that i have had a change in circumstances i wanted to speak with someone to make payment arrangements as my baby is very ill and needs around the clock medical attention i spoke with a maria who was very rude and basicly told me to get the account current or the loan would be recalled. Number one i have never beeb advised of any late fee's not to mention that when i pruchased the vehicle that i was never told that if you are late that they could demand the balance in full at any time, this is not fair as i only have six months left on the loan. And had i known that the loan is structured close to a balloon payment i would have looked at other options in the first place. I fell that they should have advised me of those conditions of the loan as they are part of the way there payment system works and i should have been advised, now at this point i feel like i have no options, because i cannot find someone to refinance such and old vehicle with the much of an out standing balance.
