Warranty rip off

I purchased a vehicle from Larry Stovesand Pontiac GMC in November. I financed the vehicle through the dealer. The car had less than 36,000 miles on it, so it was covered under the factory warranty. I signed my financial papers which included what I thought was an acknowledgement of the current factory warranty. I have recently discovered that the warranty was in fact a seperate warranty that Larry Stovesand added on to my financing.

The cost of this warranty that I was unaware of was $2,100.00. I never knew I had this other warranty so, when my car needed engine repairs, I paid for this out of my pocket. I found all of this out when I went to another dealer to shop for another car. I told the other dealer the payoff on my current vehicle should be around $10,000.00. And to my surprise it was actually $12,000.00. After doing the research on it, I found out about this other warranty that I got blind sided into buying. On my documentation for this warranty, you can't read the purchase price of it. They typed the amount in a black box.

I took this paperwork to Larry Stovesand and the sales manager told me he wasn't doing anything about it. Even though he admitted I had been mislead. I asked him who could and he said he didn't know. I guess Larry Stovesand Pontiac GMC got their money, so they really don't care about the service after the sale.

I recommend that you do not buy a vehicle from this dealership. Larry Stovesand also owns the local Ford dealership. They are all crooks!!
