Service ripoff went in with one problem left with multiple talked to service manager & tech

Went to dealership over other local shops because I expected job done to factory specs and professionalism. I took an Ford 250 6 cylinder in because oil pressure gauge wasn't working. Days later I called. Service manager say yeagh you were right it's not getting oil pressure do you want oil pump put on.

I say yeah I'm trying to get vechicle roady ready by Friday April 28. Thursday service dept called your van is ready there was a lot of oil sludge in lower motor area near oil pan but we cleaned it and cleaned the oil strainer plus put you a new oil pump on and got good oil pressure.

Friday I catch a ride to go pickup van near closing time I want to take vechile for test drive but don't. I paid $574.76 for repairs (8 hours labor). I'm on inside looking at Service Manager is backing out van it looks like the van quits twice while he's backing it out.

I Asked him he says its probably just carbons on the throttle body just drive it a few days it should go away. He also says after a few days put engine cleaner in oil run at idle for 15 minutes to flush out sludge the change oil and filter.

I left made it about 4 miles van kept cutting off oil gauge jumping now & then. I asked permission to park it in a nearby yard til Monday May 1. Saturday I had set of wires & spark plugs put on. Same result jerking won't stay crunk. Monday I take to dealer spoke to tech he says i was told to put oil pump on thats what i did. Service Manager says It will cost an extra shop charge of $55.00 for us to look at this do you want us to do it or not. Explained that we came to dealership looking for professionalism paid for it and wanted. He walked away with other customers.

We left took it to another shop thats where we stand. Van has about 18 miles on it since we paid the ford dealership for it. Checking around with shops we had passed up to get the "real deal" we find that this dealership has a reputation of "if it cranks and rolls off the lot it's fixed anything after that is a new problem for more money"
