I was a winner on my birthday to a Ripoff 1000.00 Shopping Spree West Palm Beach

Cars & Transport

My husband and I received a promotional ad from West Palm Beach Kia in the mail. The ad stated that they were targeting people in "the neighborhood" for this huge promotion, and included inside this mailing was a scratchoff ticket to win 5 different prizes.

I read this carefully and followed the instructions, scratched off our ticket to reveal a 1000.00 shopping spree. I then called for an appointment as per the instructions on the ad. This was the 2nd biggest prize awarded if you stopped by the Kia dealer and filled out a 10 minute survey with them.

As luck would have it, the appointment was on my birthday, so we went, and we received my giftcard for the 1000.00 shopping spree.

My husband and I were a little skeptical, but my 11 yr. Old son was very excited at the prospect of getting some new toys, games, and music.

We immediately went onto the website to check out the items splashed all over my giftcard. To our dismay, we found out that not only were the gifts of low quality, but the shipping and handling charges were over the top in price for each item.

Needless to say, we were very disappointed, especially my young son. We hope to warn other families out there to not waste their precious time falling for these fraudelant hoaxes. It should be a crime for these companies to be allowed to get away with these scams.
