Gave false information about my car ripoff

I went to this Walmart store for an oil change. The manager of the automotive department advised he could not do an oil change because the plug was on too tight. He gave me a card of a mechanic "friend" of his in town. He stated this friend would check the car at no charge and confirm if this was the problem. If the problem was the plug was too tight, the manager suggested I bring the car back to him. He would contact the last company that changed my oil and advise them they would be responsible for any repairs that may result from removing the plug.

I was skeptical about this. I asked my son-in-law to take a look and see if he saw any problem that would prevent him from changing my oil. He found no problems. So a couple of days later I took my car to a Qwik Lube. I requested an oil change, which was performed within 15 minutes with no mention of the plug being on too tight or any other complications with changing the oil. Uhmmmm!

Sounds like a scam to me.
