Chevrolet 73 - CHEVY 73
Ripoff, said that the vehicle i bought was gm certified but it broke down on me 2,800 miles later

I bought a 2002 trailblazer from chevy 73. They told me that it was gm certified (which i dont think they know what that means). I have owned several gm vehicles and have never had any problems with a gm certified vehicle. Until i purchased one from chevy 73.

My wife has only put 2800 miles on the vehicle since we have owned it. The dash cluster started to make some noises, the front window stopped working, the rear window stopped working so we had to tape it up so my son would not get cold. It was also making a popping noise when we would go over bumps so the suspension sway bar bushings have to be replaced.

I took it to a chevy dealership to have all of these things fixed and i also told them that my transmission shifted rough but the tranny fluid looked ok and was full. They hooked it up to a computer diagnostics machine and results came up negative.

I am not a machanic and i knew just by driving it there was something wrong with it but they said it was good to go cause the computer said so. However that is the least of it! Two days later the vehicle left me and my family including family visiting me from other states for the holidays stranded because the transmission went out in it.

So now that we have had for about 2 1/2 months it cost $1,200 dollars just to fix the little stuff and now there is no telling how much it is going to cost to fix the transmission. Chevy 73 in my opinion should be reviewed by general motors corp there selfes to see if they actually have anyone qualified to certify anything. So now i am stuck without a vehicle for the holidays because they dont know what they are doing.
