I have used this Kwik Kar location 4 times to have the oil changed in my car.

I specifically requested Valvoline Durablend semi-synthetic oil. On 3/10 and 5/14, the engine was filled with that oil.

For whatever reason, on 7/9 and 9/17, Kwik Kar decided to install 5W30 multi-viscosity fossil oil in the engine.

I am totaly embarrased and at fault for assuming Kwik Kar would follow my instructions and add the oil of my choice. I failed to check the receipt to verify that the work was done correctly.

My commute is rather long (120 miles, round trip). My thinking was to use semi-synthetic oil in order to obtain a longer oil change interval.

I have extended the mileage at which I seek an oil change because I foolishly believed that Kwik Kar could follow simple instructions.

I resent the fact that Kwik Kar opted to make my decisions for me. Further, I resent the fact that this change in lubricant was made and I was not shown the simple courtesy of being told about it.

I will not be back to this, or any other, Kwik Kar location for any reason. Caveat Emptor was never more applicable than when one attempts to patronize Kwik Kar.
