RIPOFF, I'll get the rope, you find a tree!

When I was signing papers at the dealership for my loan I was told the company wanted the down payment and first months payment. (Should have burned the contract right then.) I supplied the money and thought everything was fine.

My payments are due on the 19th, on the 17th of the first month I received a phone call advising me that I had a payment due on the 19th of this month. I told the woman on the phone that the first months payment was made when I purchased the vehicle. I was told that the money was part of the down payment and I had a payment due in two days. She then told me I would receive notices in the mail in a week or two.

Anyway throw in a major surgery and some large medical bills and I am still not caught up. I called them two weeks ago and ask if I could send half of the payment one week and the rest the next week. I was talking to a woman at first and then this smart * guy got on the phone and proceeded to tell me just what a loser I was and that they would not take part of a payment, that they wanted the whole payment and if the payments were not caught up immediately they would repo the vehicle and I could just walk.

To make a long story short, if your going after them, count me in.
