Deceptive practices ripoff

In September of last year my husband and I were searching for a used car. We stopped by Crown Acura in Clearwater and I found my, "Dream Car!" I had always wanted a 2001 Pearl White Solara with camel/leather interior.

There it was - LOADED! The price was on the high end for us but I test drove it and fell in love with it. My husband knew the salesman from highschool and while I stepped away to get my daughter a drink - my husband submitted an offer (which was accepted) and wrote a check! I was absolutely elated and was sure that I was going to drive home in it!

While we were finishing up the paperwork for the financing - another salesperson walked in and asked for the keys to the Solara (I don't know her name but she was pregnant at the time) our salesguy explained that we were purchasing the car but she indicated that she wanted to show them the Solara and then what Acura had to offer as a comparable option.

We didn't have a problem with that and let her take the keys. She then got her clients to write a check for the car and managed to get all of their paperwork submitted first! We lost the car and I was heartbroken.

To try to make it up to me the Salesmanager took me out to look at an Acura that he thought would be a good option for me. He managed to get me completely excited about this car and I thought that the situation would be mended and that I would be going home in that car.

He then let me know that he couldn't let the second car go for my budget - which really added insult to injury! Needless to say - Crown Acura will not get my business in the future or any of the many folks that have listened to my situation and were OUTRAGED!

I mean, who does business this way?
