Not a good company to work for, Old Unsafe Trucks and They do not want to pay you after you quit Ripoff And Topeka

I have worked for M&H Enterprises since January and when I first started with the comapny I thought it was a good company to work for. I thought wrong. When I first started out everything went smooth until one morning I got into a truck (an old 1986 with well over 300k miles) at 3 in the morning and found out that there were no taillights, no clearance lights and no dashlights. I called my supervisor and he instructed me on where to look for the problem so i checked the fuses and switch - couldn't find nothing. He told me to run the truck anyway and take a detour around the D.O.T. Scales and try not to get caught and to not write it down on the inspection sheet. I refused to operate the truck and I told him so. I was not going to break the law and lie about it so I told him that I was going to quit if he didn't come up with an alternative plan. He still wanted me to operate the truck so i walked off the job and let the postal service know what was happening. That truck was not only illegal to drive but it was unsafe and the employees including a supervisor agreeed. My now former supervisor who is also the owner of the company called my phone and left a real nasty message on my voicemail saying that I didn't let him know that I was walking out.

Well payday was that next Friday and to this day they still have not sent me my final paychecks which is more than a week overdue. They were wanting their company material turned in which was in the mail and should have been there days ago so they have no reason to hold my paychecks.

On top of that that morning that I walked out my supervisor called my folks's house early in the morning, wakes them up and when my mother answered he just hung up and didn't say a word.
