Ripoff Went for maintenance check and was charged $397 and did damages to my car and wanted $400 more to fix it

I went to Midas to get a checkup maintenance on my car which ran fine. They replaced the belts on the car, the following day the alternator belt breaks and he tells me that the alternator bearings are bad. I was stranded for hours in the night. I had alternator checked and not true. They did fluid into transmission which they didn't put back enough and car wouldn't run two blocks past my house. Hoses started leaking. Gas line was repaired by my brother and attached to body of car.

They repair another place in gas line and don't put on new line. Which I would have accepted, and did NOT attach the gas line to the body of the car and it rubbed against the body where they repaired it and leaked all over again. I do not advise anyone to take their car to this Midas. I had a huge argument with my husband who wanted the car taken there when I already had a good mechanic elsewhere. The car was taken back there 3 (three) times and still did not Run. The charge for the maintenance check was $397 and they wanted $400 more to fix the mistakes they made. If you notice as you drive by Midas in Johnson City, there aren't very many cars there.

My car ran great before they touched it. I needed to take my sister some tires because her exhusband had a heart attack and their daughter needed to get to her dad. They made this not possible because my other cars would not hold the two tires I was taking her. I went there that day and they just said Don't drive that car to Scranton, PA or you will ruin it. If there was something legal I can pursue I would like to know. My car was at my regular mechanics prior to Midas and there were no leaks. They are now repairing what Midas did to the car. I want to know if I can stand on the sidewalk in front of their business with a sign saying don't trust this business. AM I allowed.???
