I just bought a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 last Saturday and just two days later the engine started to give me problems and even died while driving. I called the dealer and they told me that the vehicle still under the ninety days warranty. That I have to call a service number that is listed on the paper work a number that I can not find, to have them check that vehicle.
Another problem that I have is that the only key they gave me is wore out and would not work. It is giving a hard time to get out of the ignition switch. So I notified the salesman and he informed me that I need to call Ford with the VIN Number to get a copy of that key because that was the only key the had. That key will cost me $125.00 because it has a computer ship on it. I received a carfax report from them saying that this vehicle never had any accidents or problems on file. Should I believe that? Is it a real report? Or they are just getting the customers with this one also? I already notified a lawyer to look into this ripoff. I want my deposit back and I do not want this vehicle. There is no way that you can believe that this vehicle will be fixed. There is no way that you can trust a company that is selling something that breaks 2 days later. They must be out of business!
