AC Delco
Ripoff battery positive terminal failure acid

Cars & Transport

I bought a new Gran Prix in 2000. After 35 months, the positive terminal "fell out" of the battery. I contacted the dealer and the battery was replaced under car warranty. That was about 2 years ago. Now, the same problem has occured again. Acid is leaking out and the car won't start. The terminal has come loose from the battery. The terminal was not over-tightened and the cable is not too short. This is clearly a defective battery. This has happened so often that there is now a class-action suit in Arizona.
